WHO WE ARE
The Center for California Real Estate (CCRE) is an institute of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, providing information and insights about critical issues affecting the real estate industry in California. As such, it is part of CCRE’s mission to extend C.A.R.’s impact and influence with different audiences, diverse stakeholders, and external partners.
WHAT WE DO

CCRE gathers key experts and decision makers for thought-provoking discussions, conducts research in collaboration with academic partners, and provides solutions for some of the major issues facing the state. We work with academic researchers, nonprofit leaders, elected officials, governmental officers, and others who are making a difference in order to increase connections across agencies, gather information for the real estate industry and investigate options for solutions to key issues. We work with research partners such as USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, U.C. Berkeley’s Terner Center for Housing Innovation, Pepperdine’s School of Public Policy, the U.C. Center at Sacramento, and UCLA’s Ziman Center for Real Estate.

CCRE produces executive reports, whitepapers, panels, sponsored research, and other content about real estate, consumer trends, and the economy.

OUR IMPACT

Through facilitating dialogue among key constituencies, promoting REALTOR® education, and sponsoring research, CCRE continues to advance thought leadership on key topics such as climate change, housing insecurity and homelessness, the lack of affordable housing, challenges with fair housing and discrimination, and the impacts of technology on the industry.
